Configuring Microsoft Outlook Express
You can obtain Outlook Express when you download Internet Explorer and it also comes installed with Windows. It is primarily designed for home users.Note: These instructions pertain to configuring and using MS Outlook Express, not MS Outlook, which comes with MS Office. For MS Outlook setup information, select the MS Outlook option.
Note: Some Internet Access Providers, e.g. JUNO, EarthLink, MSN, etc., may require that you use their outgoing mail server for any email sent out over their Internet Connection services. Please check with your Access Provider to determine their requirements, and then contact us for more specific instructions.
After you either install IE or get your version of Windows running properly you need to configure Outlook Express to work with your web hosting account(s). To do this you simply run Outlook Express. If it is the first time it will automatically run you through the setup process. If you already have it installed and would like to add your POP e-mail account, follow these steps to get it working correctly.
You will then be prompted with the following dialog box:

From here is where you edit your present e-mail accounts and add any new ones. To add a new one click on the Add button.

You will then be prompted with the "Internet Connection Wizard" which will guide you through the rest of the steps.


Settings for sending & retrieving mail:
a: Server Type: POP3
b. POP3 Host:
yourdomain
c: SMTP Host: yourdomain

Settings for Logging into your e-mail:

User Name: your login goes here. i.e.; abc1234

Password: make sure this matches what is on your web
space confirmation.

Click on finish and "voila" you are done.
